Hi, I'm Tara Dunn.
I'm a leadership coach for female founders and the teams they lead. I work with the CEO and with each person on her team, so everyone is leading in the same direction.
I have been coaching since 2021 and have worked with more than 30 founders and teams. I am based in the Phoenix area and work with founders wherever they are.
It started in a classroom
After earning my degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University, I spent eight years teaching elementary school in Gilbert Public Schools. Teaching taught me how to really see people, meet them where they are, and help a room full of different personalities work well together. I use all of it in my coaching today.
Then I picked up a camera
In 2018 I began brand photography for women entrepreneurs, and I still love it. Photographing founders gave me a close look at how they see themselves and the businesses they have built.
Coaching founders and their teams
I started coaching in 2021. My work focuses on how you lead, decide, and communicate, and on how your team works together because of it. I sit down with you as the CEO, I meet with your team, and I offer each person a private conversation of their own.
Founding Connect Belong
In 2022 I founded Connect Belong, a community where women entrepreneurs build real relationships in person and online. Connect Belong became a registered trademark in 2026.
At home
I'm a mom of two boys. A business should support your life, and that belief shapes how I coach.
